The Corp of Engineers has just
announced The Table Rock Lake Project Office has earned the Army Corps of
Engineers' Natural Resources Management Project of the Year Award. Table Rock
was selected from among the 463 projects the Corps manages nationwide. The Corp
also operates the Table Rock Dewey Short Visitor Center and 13 "Class A" parks
with more than 800 campsites, as well as a "Class A" day use recreation area.
Nearly 6.6 million visits were logged at the parks last year.
